Eleanor Brook, BSc (Hons) Agri-food Marketing with Business Studies student, has received a Duchy of Lancaster Scholarship at Harper Adams University.
Eleanor, 20, from Market Rasen, Lincolnshire said: “While at Harper, I was awarded the McConnell prize for the highest first year mark across the business courses, of which I’m extremely proud. I’ve also been a student ambassador, helping to give accommodation tours on open days, and I’ve been elected the chairwoman for the netball club at Harper.
"I’m going to be working for the Waitrose farming partnership for my placement year.
“In the future, I wish to pursue a career in the agri-food sector with a business orientation, but also maintains strong links to growers and producers, where public engagement may also be enhanced.
“I’d like to thank the Duchy of Lancaster for their support with my education. I feel honoured to have been selected as the recipient of the scholarship this year.”
